Home.

So the quote of the day from my mom is "Katy, in 24 days your life is going to completely change".

I got in the car and began to drive to the reception location to meet with the event planner. John Mayer's song "Stop This Train" came on my CD player *yes, Matt, I was listening to John Mayer in the car. Get over it.*

As the song played I started crying thinking about how for 3 years I have completely wished my life away. I knew I was doing it, and I am totally okay with it. I didn't really enjoy my college years at Wesleyan as much
as I maybe should have, but I never really was into that scene. I had fun while I was there, but let's face it, sororities and partying wasn't my thing. I did, however, meet some amazing people and got the opportunity to go to Africa, which would have never happened. I know God wanted me there, and I did enjoy my time as much as possible as a nursing student.

Anyways, today I really just realized that my life truly is about to take a complete 100% change. I am about to get married, and move to a completely different state 10 hours away from home. My mom and I are really close. I try to joke and say that I won't miss her or that I'm tough and independent, but I've relied on my parents quite a bit throughout my whole life.

I am about to have to rely 100% on my husband and that is going to be a change.

I am getting really excited about marriage and Matt and I's life together in Chicago. I know it will have it's ups and downs but I'm ready to take on that rollercoaster and enjoy the ride! (sorry for the cheesy analogy... had to happen! ;-)

So after all this wedding planning is over and I get all moved in to my apartment in Chicago, I was thinking about doing a lot more knitting and possibly opening an Etsy shop. I had gotten some comments awhile back about my hair bow that I made, and someone had mentioned opening an Etsy shop to sell them. So, I need some opinions on whether or not that would be worth it. Anyone?!

Here is a picture of what it looked like. The ones I sell of course would be neater and not have a piece sticking out. Any comments or advice on this?! I would make scarves too and probably start into making some different headbands and cowls as well. ??? Is it worth it or would it be a bust?!

I'm getting pretty excited about !!! Don't forget to check out emery's blog. She has the most adorable little boys ever, and join in on SUMMER FASHION WEEK!!!!
